Look closely enough and you'll see a chafed wire and a ball point pen for reference. This chafe essentially took the Bell Helicopter off of a $ 250,000/month contract, until the chafe was eventually found and repaired. Tens of thousands of dollars were lost paying for parts that had repeatedly failed as a result of the chafe, not to mention costs that were associated with flight tickets, hotels, meals, etc. for the maintenance crews.  Several teams/crews had taken their shot at fixing the charging issue that was shredding the bell 205's charge control box intermittently. They'd spent 3 weeks troubleshooting, then they called us.  You see what we found in the pix below. It took one day to troubleshoot, isolate and repair.... a pricey chafe indeed.
